Description
These will be the last ever photographs of Egypt from me.
A strange man tried to grab my camera, I was taken to the police station and the National Security Office.
My passport was taken away and I am still waiting to get it back plus my visa.
My family and I are leaving Egypt in 12 weeks and never coming back.
They wanted me to delete all the photos from the day. I refused; as I have a right to do.
The 'strange man' that tried to take my camera was a policeman! He said I was following young girls!
My anxiety has now gone through the roof. I really don't need to have another breakdown, especially here.
We are moving back to The Philippines as soon as we get our daughter her passport.
Egyptian law states that I have done nothing illegal.
The chief of police and the head of National Security told me the same; they said that I have done nothing wrong or illegal but it would be advisable not to take any more photos.
All I have ever done in my life is good and legal to the best of my knowledge.
When I am dead, maybe the world will realise this!
I was and still am very scared being here.
